08/2008 - 05/2014. Conduct research on electron transfer rates in photoelectrochemical water-splitting systems.  Developed and built nanosecond transient absorption system.  Collaborated with Saavedra Group at University of Arizona to develop visible transient attenuated total reflection spectroscopy.  Developed and characterized sintered IrO2 water-splitting dye-sensitized photoelectrochemical cells.  Mentored three PSU undergraduates and REU student.  REU student selected to present her summer research at Council on Undergraduate Research Fall 2011 meeting.
